- Open the New Job page if it is not already open.
- Type a Job Number in the Job No. field. If this field is not editable, then your Administrator has configured the system to automatically assign Job numbers when new Jobs are created. If the field is editable, but contains the text "<auto>", then the Administrator has configured the system to automatically assign Job numbers when a new Job is created, but has provided the ability for users to override this by typing in number.
- Type the name of the Job in the Name field.
- Type the name of a Customer in the Customer field. Alternatively, you can look up and select a customer using the find customer tool (
).
- Click Add (
) when done. The new Job will be added to the database and the Job's details will be displayed.
